Chili pods

This burning foreigner came to our kitchens from Mexican Astek tribes. In ancient Nautal, its name means "red." The patroness of chili peppers is the goddess of all volcanoes Kausholotl.
Some of its varieties are so "evil" that you can only touch the peppers with rubber gloves - so there is a great danger of getting a skin burn.
The taste of pepper pods can be slightly softened by removing the skin from the fruits and peeling them from seeds. Pepper's hotness is measured on a Scoville scale.
