Description

In IX, savory spread throughout Europe, as compared with other spices it had a low cost. It was especially popular in England, Germany and the Scandinavian countries. They are used for canning mushrooms of tomatoes, cucumbers, green peas, and other vegetables. Dried savory is used for preparing dishes from legumes, mushrooms (except mushrooms), cheeses, meat and potato salads, fish and meat dishes, and for pickling and pickling various vegetables.
